Residents

Delivering safety,
savings, and
peace of mind.

When residents embark on a new phase of life—whether in an assisted living community, skilled nursing facility, or another living arrangement—they require specialized care to meet their changing needs. From concerns about safety and packaging to confusion about billing and Medicare, residents and their families have more questions than ever.

That’s where Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin comes in. We provide total medication management for residents of long-term care facilities, resulting in more value and lower risks. Best of all, everything is serviced at a local level to offer personalized care.

We also help caregivers spend less time on administrative duties and more time on what matters most—providing better safety and care for you and your loved ones.

Insurance
Coverage

Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin accepts Medicare Part D and most insurance plans. We also work with State of Wisconsin Medicaid, SeniorCare, Managed Care Organizations and Hospice Agencies.

Medication
Returns

Items that have been returned and that can be restocked will be credited to the applicable account. Items that may be credited are limited to items that have not been used, opened, visibly tampered with, or adulterated.

Billing
Accuracy

Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin uses your most recent insurance information to bill for medications. All billing services and support is handled locally. Through our insurance optimizer program, we proactively identify non-covered medications when prescribed and work with your resident’s doctors and insurance companies to determine a covered option to keep costs low and eliminates surprise billing along with resident and staff frustration.

VA
Repackaging

Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin respects and acknowledges residents who have served our country and has access to veterans’ benefits. We provide a streamlined repackaging service that allows a veteran to obtain the medication through the VA and then be repackaged by our pharmacy to provide safe medication administration at the community. Please contact us to discuss setting up this service.

“When it comes to residents, I don’t think of them as a business or a customer or a resident. I think of them as family. I’m thinking that could be my mother or my grandmother or my grandfather.”
